German has been loaning words to English for quite some time. Now we’d like to see what’s become of them. We are inviting all students at third-level institutions in
the ROI to give a German loanword back in whichever medium they choose: you can
write a story, take a photo, produce a film, the choice is entirely up to you.
You can pick one or more words from the list above, or choose a different
loanword.
How to enter & Deadline
Please limit written contributions to 1,000 words (in English or German) and
audio /visual material to 5 minutes / 100×100cm. Once you are ready to submit your contribution, please complete our
online registration form www.dublin.diplo.de
Please ensure you have your C.V. ready for this. Also ensure that all additional
documents are saved under your surname, followed by your first name (i.e.:
surname, first name)
Deadline 20th November 2010
Eligibility
All undergraduate and postgraduate students registered for a
Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree at a ROI third-level-institution, except German
nationals
